I spend a lot of time thinking about:
  • Characterizing the natural history of vector-borne diseases
  • Investigating the dynamics of cross-species disease transmission
  • Improving our understanding of wildlife health
  • Optimizing diagnostic strategies to enhance biosurveillance
  • Untangling the complexities of host-pathogen co-evolution

I strongly believe that diverse and inclusive science is better science, and welcome conversations about how we can better promote equity & accessibility in STEM.
